Encouraging Our Youth
My desire to shine a positive a light on the field of Social Work motivated me write and publish children books that introduce young readers to the field.

I am dedicated to inspiring young people to dream big in life; just as children yearn to become doctors, lawyers, teachers, or even a dentist becoming a Social Worker can be an ambition as well.

Destined to Be
Destined To Be, introduces young students to the Social Work field and the possibility for them to aspire to be a Social Worker as an adult. The book examines the main character, Jeanine's eagerness to discover what a Social Worker does when one comes to her school during Career Week. There are other professionals that present at Career Week; however, they do not interest Jeanine. After listening to the Social Worker's presentation, Jeanine is excited and tells her parents she is interested in helping people and now yearns to become a Social Worker when she is an adult.
